Law enforcement and surveillance relates to one another as both are used in the theme of crime and conviction. The general definition of law enforcement contributes towards the lawful acts of law enforcers such as the police and their head departments, whereas surveillance is a visual source that is much helpful in these cases. A visual perspective will make it easier to view the truth of the matter or shield light on the occurrence of events that took place. Here’s a look at a few examples…
In Vineland, New Jersey, during the month of December (a few days before the holidays), a man decided to ‘tis the season by decorating the roadway with a squad car early one morning. The man was taken out by a bullet made by the policeman after he used a backhoe’s shovel to flip the cruiser over onto its side. His identity went unknown, though his death was proclaimed a few minutes after he had taken a bullet in a mobile home park that early Saturday. Luckily, the officers were able to leave the scene in stable conditions and were said to be ‘ok’. Many wondered if the shooting was related to another incident that took place in Vineland right before daybreak, however, the Attorney General’s Office had no remarks to give out to the public at that time. The video below shows a brief scene of the incident.
Another prime example is the grenade episode in Flagler County, Florida last year during the month of October. A team of deputies were making a scheduled traffic stop in the area of north Florida where an old man aged 65 was pulled over for expired tags as well as his driver’s license that had become invalid in 2019. But wait, it gets better. When the police examined his vehicle they soon came to a discovery of a grenade stationed in the driver’s side door along with some other items. The old man claimed he was clearing out a veteran’s residence, found the grenade, and evidently took it without knowing if it was still active. Immediately, help to detonate the grenade was called upon while closing down a section of the road. The grenade was successfully taken out of the truck and detonated, which is seen in the video below.
Apparently, the old man lied about his identity to the police as his past held a varied list of criminal acts, counting burglary, rape, armed robbery with fake weapon, battery, and more. County Sheriff Rick Staly told this story as an important reminder to how something as little as a traffic stop could just be made into something as big as this, claiming the ‘idiot’ to be lucky to still be alive. The elderly man was of course put into custody of law enforcement and was charged.
